All the way from Nashville, Tennessee, we are pleased to announce the arrival of King Babar (TN) and Queen Celeste (TN).
Arriving on Thanksgiving, the pair emerged out of their cramped transportation box with a sigh of relief.
We’ll let them settle in and feast on a special Thanksgiving meal of Turkey, sweet potatoes and pumpkin pie!

Cousin Arthur (NJ) arrived this morning beating the upcoming transportation strike. On this cold chilly day, the Reception Centre wrapped him up in a cosy dressing gown and slippers. I understand he’s spent most of the day catching up on his sleep, but not before he was instroduced to fellow new resident Queen Celeste (CA).
It’s been nearly a month seen we secured Queen Celeste (CA) for the BRC, and she finally arrived at the Reception today in fine fettle after her long journey.

The girls have been gathering in the kitchen perfecting the art of soup and stew making, whilst the boys are reaping the rewards of home brew. All are looking forward to long cosy nights ahead and the upcoming seasonal events.

The residents have all returned from their first camping trip and a fun time was had by all!
For many this was the first time they had slept under the stars….
The residents are currently preparing for their camping trip. Tents have been packed, rucksacks rolled and the countdown has started.
Check back after the long bank holiday weekend for a photo record.
June and July saw the arrival of 4 new residents, and I am pleased to say that all 4 have now left the Reception Centre and our truly settled into their new homes at the Rescue Centre.

King Babar (Madison, WI) arrived at the Reception Centre today. This poor chap is certainly in need of some TLC. Appearing battered and uncared for, his rehabilitation may take longer than others.
Cousin Arthur (Hummelstown, PA) arrived at the Reception Centre yesterday in high spirits. Happy to see his new home, he made firm friends straight away with Cousin Arthur (CT) and Queen Celeste (CT).
We will be finding out more about this cheeky chap as the summer days progress, but in the meantime, we’re letting him relax [...]
